Logo Design

I recently did a logo for my daughter and her friend. They have a new publishing company. This turned out well and the clients were happy with the result.

Favorite Mixed Media

I've been doing some digital art for pattern design. This is an example.

I use acrylics on board for my main medium. Here are some examples.

I've chosen some of my favorite pieces of art to display and share.

The mountain lion is water color paint.

Always enjoyed doing art of all kinds using animals as the subject.
Here is a koala bear I really like. It was done
with acrylic paint.

The illustration of a wooded trail is water color paint.
I took some photos of the walking trails near my home at the
time and tried to convey the beauty of the woods.

The sunset here is another favorite because of the colors
and its simplicity. It's done with water color paint on
wall board.

The old library building was right around the corner from where I lived
about 20 years ago. I took some photos for reference and did this
ink wash with pen illustration for a Mohawk College project. Its design is wonderful and I've always liked the brick color and large windows. Now it's used as University building.

The painting of the mountain is done on stretched canvas. I framed
and stretched it, then applied the gesso.
It's my first attempt at using oil paint and was a little
frustrated with having to mix the colors and get the thickness
of the paint just right.

The Dream Garden is done with acrylic paint.

Apple for Tessa was done with acrylic paint on wall board.
